The process
What happens at each stage, and what we need from you.
1. Send us the details
Use the quote form, WhatsApp or phone. We need to know what the cargo is, roughly how large it is, where it starts and the destination in Liberia.
From you: a description and the destination town. Photos are useful.
2. You receive a written price
Usually within one business day. It shows the freight cost, what is included, an estimate of Liberian duties and port charges, and the intended sailing.
From you: confirmation, or questions. Nothing is booked until you confirm.
3. Booking and intake
You deliver the cargo to our Adelaide warehouse or we collect it. Each piece is weighed, measured, labelled with your shipment reference and photographed. You receive a receipt listing what we took in.
From you: the consignee’s full name and phone number in Liberia, and a packing list.
4. Loading and sailing
The cargo is loaded, the container sealed and the seal number recorded. We lodge the export documentation and book the container onto the vessel. You receive the bill of lading and sailing details.
From you: nothing, unless a vehicle is included, in which case we will already hold the title documents.
5. Customs clearing in Monrovia
Our Liberia team prepares the declaration before the vessel docks, lodges it on arrival, attends any examination, settles duties and port charges, and obtains release.
From you: the consignee’s ID details and, for commercial cargo, a TIN. We request these before arrival.
6. Delivery
We contact the consignee, agree a day and deliver to the address. They present photo ID matching the shipment and sign for the goods. We confirm the delivery to you.
From you: notice if the consignee or the address changes.
What we need from you
